With 45 years of legal practice in Scotland as a commercial, corporate, and private solicitor, with a particular expertise in property, I retired from the profession as senior and managing partner.

During my career I expanded the business extensively including the operation of City Centre and suburban branches and introduced a London based consulting address. I also sat on the Board of a fully listed PLC and was their Secretary and principal Legal advisor for ten years.

As a consultant with SMS Business Consultants I am offering my professional and commercial expertise and advice, information, experience, involvement and recommendations to assist clients in achieving their objectives and resolving challenges.

On a relaxed basis I am able to provide a service on various aspects of business and private matters. Acting as a team with the client I would anticipate optimising performance, achievements, negotiations and generally provide guidance to contribute to the success of their project.
